Sykes Leather Shot Flask
This leather shot flask was produced in the 1800's by Sykes of Sheffield, England. Its function is to pour the correct amount of lead shot for loading a muzzle-loading gun. The mechanism can be set to pour either 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 ounces of shot. Condition overall is fair. The leather is in very good condition but the mechanism, while functioning, is well worn and will not unscrew from the flask.
Measures 200mm long x 100mm wide x 30mm thick.
